Memory Cafe of the Red River Valley

Memory Cafe of the Red River Valley is a free social gathering located in the Fargo Moorhead area where people experiencing memory loss, and their care partners, come together in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. A place where they can experience a true sense of belonging and meaningful purpose.

Monday Gatherings –
9:00-11:00 AM at Bethel Church, Fargo, ND
– Exercise (9-9:30am)
– Coffee & Conversations Small Groups: Early-Stage Persons Living with Dementia Group. Care Partner Support Groups, along with groups for Individuals Living with Dementia with trained volunteers.

1:00-2:30 PM (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Monday of each month) at Bethel Church Fargo, ND
– Various Programming (Education, Music, Creative Arts, Community Service, etc.)

Wednesday Gatherings –
1:00-2:30 PM hosted various locations – Hope Lutheran South Fargo, ND (1st and 3rd Wednesday) and Hjemkomst Center (2nd Wednesday)
– Various Programming including Education, Music, Creative Arts, Intergenerational Connections, Community Service, etc.)

Dine and Dance –
Hosted the 4th Monday of each month from 11:30am – 1:30 pm at the Moorhead American Legion

Caregiver Cafe (Caregiver Support Group)
Hosted on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Memory Cafe Office from 1:00-2:30 PM.

Young- Onset Dementia Support Group
Hosted on the 4th Monday of each month at the Memory Cafe Office from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Moving Ahead: Life After Losing a Partner to Dementia Group:
Hosted on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Memory Cafe Office from 9:30-11:00 AM.
