I have read lots about dementia, have volunteered in dementia respite programs, have gone through a professional training course for teaching artists working with dementia - while all of these experiences have prepared me for future work with this audience, the Dementia Friends Session offered me a deep appreciation for the PERSON living with dementia - I will now have more confidence and better skills communicating with and making art with the dementia community. thank you so much

I hope to share your training session with the Carrboro ArtsCenter staff and also the wider Carrboro community -
