I first was trained by Dr. Maggie Ellis on dementia and registered as a Dementia Friend in 2016 for the Dementia Friendly St Andrews chapter of Alzheimer's Society in Scotland, UK. It was an incredible period of time for where I had the opportunity to work as an events coordinator and outreach representative. During this time I helped to coordinate fundraising opportunities while also raising awareness and education for dementia. Now that I have moved to Massachusetts and to work in clinical phase trials for Alzheimer's disease Research I would like to continue to work as a Dementia Friend and continue this valuable work here in the USA. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to once again become a Dementia Friend!
