Register Your Memory Cafe
Welcome to the new Memory Cafe Directory!
We’re glad you’re here.
Here is how to register your Memory Cafe
- Agree to core principles and terms in the sign up form. The Memory Cafe Alliance aims to encourage a high standard of quality Memory Cafes. While each Memory Cafe may look a little different, a collaborative process of Memory Cafe Leaders in the US agreed to these principles that we believe all Cafes should uphold.
- Make an account. In order to make it easier for Memory Cafe Leaders to update their own listings, we ask that you create an account with a username and password that you choose. We have found that this is crucial to ensure that people can more easily keep listings up to date.
- Complete the short Knowledge Check. Why a Knowledge Check? The collaborative process of US Memory Cafe Leaders agreed that this Knowledge Check would help improve the consistency and quality of Memory Cafes. It also helps protect from spammers or fake accounts. Don’t worry, you will be able to take the Knowledge Check as often as you need until you get at least 90% correct. Stay tuned for the free online training modules that will be available to you early 2025. These modules will cover the content of the questions (and more) for new people that wish to start a Memory Cafe.
- Add a Cafe from your dashboard and manage your listings there as you need to update them. This will be accessible to you after completing the above steps.
